"You need to determine where it is happening. Do a half test. Put a sheet of paper on the manual feeder and perform a self test. When the back edge of the paper enters the printer, quickly open the toner door to stop the printing. Remove the toner cartridge and look at the image below. If the defect is present the issue is the toner cartridge and nothing else period. If the defect is not there then the fuser teflon sleeve has worn on that side and the fuser will need to be replaced. Not a fun job on this printer. You can obtain replacement at a fair price from metrofuser.com, depot-america.com or partsnow.com. Below is a link where you can download the service manual for free.
